So today’s scam post is related to reselling tickets, another thing scumbag scammers like to pretend to do to get consumers’ money.
I’m not a big concert or event ticket person. I think the last time I went to anything that cost money was when a particular favorite musical of mine came into town several years ago. So I generally am not as familiar with second-hand ticket sales. But two different posts in r/scams talked about the same scam so I thought that was a sign.
In other news, I noticed in my stats that I get a lot of hits to my front page - which I threw together in order to have a front page - and don’t seem to go any further. I would have thought that the link in the header was enough to get people to get to my actual scam index, but I’m wondering if it is. It could be that I’m getting hits through my host neocities, though I thought that one’s site only came up if you’d recently updated it. In any case, I’m adding a link to my scam index at the bottom of my main page and seeing if that changes visitor behavior.
