A lot of scams I cover here on this site are absolute, complete scams.
This one is borderline. Yes, they do rely on you not reading the fine print and checking your bank statements (or your bank website). But most of them do put the terms and conditions… somewhere on their site. Mostly so they can point to them and tell you that it’s too bad, so sad, you agreed to it.
(This is why you should always read the terms and conditions, people!)
I wasn’t planning on doing this one this week. What I was planning on was Sugar Daddy/Sugar Momma scams - however, like a lot of scams involving sex (with maybe the exception of sexual blackmail scams) they are complicated because the Sugar Daddy/Sugar Momma world is complicated. I might still cover it some day.
